WHAT ARE SMATS BEACONS?

Bluetooth beacons are a class of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices that broadcast their identifier to nearby SMATS Bluetooth and WiFi sensors.

HOW BEACONS WORK WITH SMATS SENSORS

The TrafficXHub™ sensor is installed at strategic locations in the customer’s facility to pick up signals emitted from vehicles or assets (with beacons attached) to track the movements. iNode™ uses a whitelisting system to detect the beacons and distinguish the beacons from other signal sources.
